100+ Do Follow Social Bookmarking Websites

Social bookmarking is a very important tool in your success to building quality backlinks. As you know, backlinks help increase your sites’ Google page rank. But not just any backlink! It needs to be a backlink on a bookmarking site that does not use the “nofollow” tag.

I touched on what a “nofollow” tag is in my How To Attract Comments On Your Blog article so please read that first if you are not familiar with the term.

You may be surprised to find that a lot of the large social bookmarking sites such as Delicious and Digg use the “nofollow” tag. This means you are not getting the Google page rank juice that you desire. It is not a total waste though to bookmark on the larger sites as your content may gain popularity and produce other types of exposure for you.  Also, remember that Google is not the only search engine out there and your bookmarks do have a chance of being copied resulting in links elsewhere.

So to help you out, I’ve done some research and have found out which bookmarking sites do not use the “nofollow” tag or their own version of a dynamic link (which Google also does not credit as a backlink). The sites are ordered by Google page rank.
