Miami Vice Wordpress Theme
Two years ago when I started my Informant Zone blog I made a big mistake. I modeled my color scheme after one of my passions – Miami Vice. I thought it was the coolest thing ever. Despite having reached a Google page rank of 4 with it at the time, the teal and pink color scheme wasn’t retaining long term readers.
I wish I had a larger screenshot but this is all I have and I don’t feel like re-activating the theme just to take a larger screenshot. This should give you an idea of what I started off blogging with and give you a laugh at the same time. And no, I was not blogging about Miami Vice.
Since then I’ve obviously learnt a lot about blog design and feel I have done a good job on my theme. I still do tweak it as I see fit and to keep up to date with the trends. After all, we don’t want to still be blogging like it’s 1995.
Right now I am just waiting to see if John Chow will accept an article on my blog design tips. If he does, I will link you to it. If not, I will post it on here for you to read. Hopefully, either way my readers will get to view it and possibly benefit from the tips as I’ve had to learn this the hard way.
